Slop Tower Defense field guide

Plan a raid run and merchant spend

Raids are a gameplay loop; Raid Revamp is an update announcement. This guide helps plan a run and merchant purchase while current numerical rewards and live rework details remain unverified.

What is supported

The official Raid Revamp description announces raid reworks, a new Raid Merchant unit and evolutions. The latest scheduled start is September 27, 2026 at 17:00 UTC; an active event record is not proof that the gameplay is already released.

The September 21 sloptowerdefenses.wiki raid guide reports Raid Crystals as a raid currency spent at the Raid Merchant. We retain that as a dated third-party report, not a verified current payout table.

Keep currency budgets separate →

Build a run around your purchase

If a displayed target costs C and you have B, the remaining requirement is max(0, C−B). For an observed average payout R > 0, estimate ceiling(max(0, C−B)/R) successful runs. If your balance already covers the price, you need zero extra runs. If R is zero and you still need currency, no finite run estimate is available. This is planning arithmetic, not a claim about any current merchant cost or reward.

  1. Inspect the live merchant and write down the exact item, currency, price and remaining availability.
  2. Record your current currency balance. Budget for the difference rather than a price quoted in an old guide.
  3. Bring a working opening and assign damage versus support roles before queuing.
  4. After a run, record the actual payout and run time, including failed attempts.
  5. Compare currency earned per minute over several attempts before increasing difficulty.

Avoid an expensive failed run

MeddysonTD’s September 19 crafting walkthrough attempts raids after evolving units. Treat that as an example of testing a lineup, not proof that the same team clears a revised raid.

Keep your stable farming team and critical ingredients while learning the new mode. A rare unit’s trade estimate cannot substitute for observing whether your opening survives.

Rewards and mechanics still needing verification

No numerical reward or drop-rate table is published here. Recheck the current result screen and official notes before planning a long farm.

  • Current entry requirements, party size and map/difficulty options.
  • Wave structure, clear and failure rewards, and reward multipliers.
  • Merchant rotation, exact new unit, costs and acquisition conditions.
  • Evolutions, recipes, balance changes and any supported drop rates.
